This is a biased look at Rugby (from a Gamma point of view...hence the fuschia) and I make no apologies for that. Go The Wallabies! Go The Brumbies!...and ouch...Stephen Larkham...

Sydneysiders...Fare The Wallabies Well.

This it it.
Your last chance to see Stephen The Wallabies before they set off on their Crusade to bring back the Holy Grail of Rugby...Bill.

...and actually....what the hell...this really is the last time you will get to see STEPHEN LARKHAM on Australian soil as a Wallaby. George Gregan too.

The Wallabies squad leaves on Thursday August 23 for France, where they will be based in Montpellier.
Their first match is on September 8th versus Japan.

Public Farewell to the 2007 World Cup Wallabies

The Australian Rugby Union and City of Sydney have teamed up to give the Wallabies a huge Public Farewell on the eve of their departure for France and Rugby World Cup 2007.

Get along to Sydney Square, next to the Sydney Town Hall, at lunchtime on Wednesday, 22 August to say a final Goodbye and Good Luck to the Wallabies for Australia’s Rugby World Cup 2007 campaign.

Don’t forget to Go Gold and show the Wallabies that you’re behind them all the way!
There will be some Rugby activities to enjoy from 11.30am.

...no these activities do not include watching Larkham change shirts. I asked.

When:
12.00pm, Wednesday, 22 August
Where:
Sydney Square, next to Sydney Town Hall
FREE ENTRY!

This event will be subject to suitable weather conditions. aka...only a blizzard should keep you away and even then...get a shovel.

I just might see you there but apologies if I don't recognise you.
I have a medical condition know as Larkham Tunnel Vision Syndrome. There is no known cure.

Dusk,

Unfortunately, I can't be there, due to the fact that the local ALP member for Boothby (Nicole Cornes) will be holding a Street Corner Meeting in the Mitchell Park Reserve this Saturday, however, I'll be sending my representative along. Look for a funny little balding guy with bushy eyebrows, who looks like the school teacher in South Park, wearing a K-Mart Wallabies tracksuit.

Hi Dusk

I think we all know you have gone into stalker mode, savouring those last moments of Larkham in person.

Bye Boys.... see you in the final! May the best shade of green and gold be victorious!

Hope you are well.

huh! In that picture, Larkham is only a couple of inches taller than Gregan. I thought you said he was tall??

Tomorrow at lunch, eh? Maybe I'll take a walk down there!

Just kidding about the picture - I remember the original post where you claimed Gregan was standing on a box...

Do the jerseys really need the breast-enhancing lines?

Hiya Ash hon...

I think we all know you have gone into stalker mode,

There's a fine line between stalker and fan...and I'm going to step over it tomorrow.

I am sooooo kidding.
...if you read in Thursdays news headlines;
'Larkham Tackled By Fan'...it.was.not.me.

Bye Boys.... see you in the final!
Oh yeahhhhh...
May the best shade of green and gold be victorious!
...any shade of green and gold versus all black...but in the event of marsupial versus antelope...Wallaby victorious!

Hope you're well Ash...big hug...

Hiya Cara...

Um...yeah...I kind of forgot that it was so close too...
The fact that I have a Rugby World Cup blog did alert me...

I'm actually trying to rearrange my schedule for tomorrow so that I can have a great time! I really do not want to miss this. Will try and get some photos.

...might even take some photos of the other Wallabies...

Hugs hon...

Hiya Chic-ita...

object of your obsession
Oh come on now. I object.
It's not an obsession.
It's just a very very very very very very very very very deep and longstanding admiration of Stephen's body...of work and his face...ts and his...ai, yai, ai Q...

Always good to see you CC...

hugs hon...

Oh come on Cibby!!

It's pec accentuating lines.

...and I'm so glad you remembered...SL is about 6'2", GG is about 5'9"...and it was Little Git that I said was standing on a box even though he is taller than GG.

Gregan just stands tall full stop.

...maybe I'll see you there! You wouldn't be too hard to spot Cibby...

Friend I hope that you were able to drink in SL and all of his glory. Shall I send you a sympathy card once the Wallabies set sail?

How handsome they all look in their Sunday finest (I prefer the uniform shot myself with the chest enhancing lines)

Remember friend that absence makes the heart grow fonder so the object of your obsession ...better watch out!

So good to see you! Hope you are well!

Hey Dusk,

try not to get caught this time.

Or at least, if you get caught, get caught by the right people.....
