Right. It's that time ofmonth day...
I feel like unbottling a whine....letting it breathe you know?....
So. Here goes.
Why do I always grab the cord that shuts the blinds when I want to open it?

I HATE that!! Or you grab it, and you can only lower the blind like an inch at a time, and you're standing there yanking it over and over and over and over to get the damn thing lowered!!

The sun has a way of creeping through even shut blinds ...
Not in an intrusive way ... I'ts always subtle ... it just filters through the shutters ... takes a look around ... And, if the sun discovers the person has inadvertently pulled the wrong cord? ... It floods in ...

Why does the car get wrecked just after we replace the tires?
Why is there no milk the only frigging time you decide you want cereal?
Why is it that your keys are always laying within reach on days you're staying home, but you can never find them when you're in a hurry to leave?

As far as rugby goes, I can't even manage to understand sports in my own country, much less sports in other counties. I'm glad I finally pulled my head out of my arse so I could take a better look around.

I'll never criticise your writing ...
I will, however, criticise girls who write Private Messages like the ones I received today from a B(l)O(gger), who will remain nameless and faceless? ... Who was never going to visit my Blog ever again ... (writing PMs qualifies as visiting my Blog doesn't it?) ... *
I'm so tempted to break my cardinal rule of never posting private messages on my Blog ... (but I won't ... I'll just circulate it ... in the same fashion that my private emails get circulated ...
And just rest content in the knowledge that Norm will wrap it in his underpants and treasure it ... *

Well you're Irish....
I can see no other reason why anyone would violate privacy like this.

you know, when the perfect bottle is chosen but it tastes like it might as well be from a blasted cask.
When you've built a rep for bringing good wine to 'the' party, and one day,
"Mate, what the hell is this? Don't tell me you tried to make it yourself..."
Speaking of which, who's gonna buy a bottle with me tomorrow? We can share the blame if its shocking.

...as I said I would, some more words... here's another whine I thought I'd mention...it's about always finding the thing you're looking for in the last place you look, even if you try and trick yourself and go to what you think'll be the last place, first... but invariably still turns out to be the first, making you go through everything to find it in the last place anyway ... *chuckle*
Like Blind Chords, I sometimes drive myself nuts, trying to second guess which end would be last, really, or first and ... can I manipulate the odds by pretending that I really didn't want to start at this end, but that one, anyway? *lol*
I do that with blind chords too btw ... but it's like rehearsing lines in a play to me ... I keep forgetting... Now was it the back of the chord, or the front of the chord that went left or right... *guffaw* it's so stupid, really ... so I have deemed it a ridiculous thing to attempt to second guess myself in these matters and simply taken to just grabbing any side - as the mood takes me (stumbling around first thing in morning) - and then waiting to see what happens... *lol* ... now I'm taking bets with myself to see which side wins...
Great post,
I've been chuckling for days...

I know rugby, I used to watch my brother and friends play, I really like it. I will be supporting my country this year.

I had a quick look at your favorite player - I know him!
That's a very nice picture of him, he's always wearing head gear so you can't tell what he looks like.
My pic is a mayflower. It matches my name and it's my favorite flower.
I've been visiting some other sites and it's nice to see the support in this community. The other writers I've visited are here too.
