This is a biased look at Rugby (from a Gamma point of view...hence the fuschia) and I make no apologies for that. Go The Wallabies! Go The Brumbies!...and ouch...Stephen Larkham...

Pyrotechnics and Fireworks...

Wow.

A friend sent this to me via email and I just had to share* it with you.

Unfortunately I do not know the name of the photographer and also unfortunately...because it's a panoramic image...it's freakin' long....so quality has been lost in transference....click on the image to see it in its full glory.

This was taken in Perth, Western Australia by ? on Australia Day.
That would be July 4....kidding!!!...

January 26th.

Photographer Unknown but Amazing Nonetheless
....surround sound....

*again...apologies for stepping out of genre...I suppose one could say that this is how my mind feels when I watch Larkham Rugby....

Hi Dusk

Wow! I can see why you felt the need to share.

I love storms and love fireworks and to get two for the price of one is the best deal I can think of.

Awesome.

Love Cara. xxxx

Wow... such an amazing view! Not only are the fireworks and lightening impressive, but I have NEVER seen a beach like that... it's beautiful!

I like that you're breaking away from Rugby at times... this stuff? I can relate to.

Beautiful image...

Much Respect,

W

I totally agree with Wendi on this one ...

I like that you're breaking away from Rugby at times... this stuff? I can relate to.

(Thanks for the quote, W)

Especially when you post things/photos like this.

Oh, that doesn't mean that I don't appreciate your Larkham rugby posts as well.
I do.

Pictures like this just really make me smile.

Hello Wendi...

I do have to say that Australia has some of the best beaches I have ever seen.
And I'm a beach connoisseur.
(that's 'beach'...)

Sydney has some amazing beaches that one can only get to by boat and they're amazing...a favourite of mine has a waterfall as a backdrop with a freshwater pool, it's just divine...I should post a photo of it.

I love this photo.
I think I have stood where it was taken.

I like that you're breaking away from Rugby at times
...no...I've never played that position
(#6 or #7 breakaway)....

Alright, alright, I'll be serious.

To me...Rugby is an analogy of the way I choose to live life.

Head up, eye on the ball, get tackled, get rucked, get mauled but get up. Always. With continued and renewed strength and optimism.

Sheesh.

That's fricken corny.

Anyway.

much warmth

Replying out of sequence.

Hi Cara...

That's it.

No more Rugby posts.

From now on I'll only write about Larkham.

Hiya David...

Lily 'stole my thunder' ...

...that's because she's lightning fast...

...but your comment wasn't bad either... quipsilver...

You're slipping though darlin'...not one word about my postscript...

Dusk ...

The reason I didn't mention your postscript is because I was just waiting to see how many times Larkham and Rugby were mentioned in a non Larkham, non Rugby post of yours first ... in the non-Larkham, non-Rugby comments section ...

And if you think I'm going to add anything like

Stephen!!!

or Larkham!!!

or Rugby!!!

And add to it?

Think again! *

David (not Stephen Larkham and not a Rugby Player)

Great pic. Reminds me of a quote by Maria Callas
"You are born an artist or you are not. And you stay an artist, even if your voice is less of a fireworks. The artist is always there.” Thanks for sharing!
