Rugby Union - by Craig Hill

RWC Final: England v Springboks...yawn...

October 14th 2007 23:22
...does anyone really care?

How could Argentina do this to me? How?

Springboks 37 - 13 Argentina

An Argentinian player defeated v Springboks RWC semi final
um...the scrum's that way...

I didn't watch the match. Not really interested in any other green/gold colours. I really would have liked to see valiant Argentina win this match. If only to see them break out into song... don't cry for me Argentina...cry for yourselves.

Go The Wallabies!!...and please no remarks along the lines of; "well...they did".

...and this...

England 14 - 9 France

France defeated

Sebastien Chabal
Mon Dieu...pourquoi You 'av deyserrted moi? Wurz eet mah 'air? - Sebastien Chabal, flamboyant and flammable French # 8

Soooo did not want England to win. Didn't want France to win either.
Was hoping they would both be disqualified on a technicality like...they suck or host country is not allowed to win if host country is not Australia or reigning champions must forfeit right to defend their title if reigning champions are not Australia.

Something like that.

I think the IRB really needs me to come in and rewrite their rules. I'm pretty fair. I don't want to rule the world. I just want things done my way.

So...this is it...
Rugby World Cup Final:

England v South Africa

...in the spirit of good sportsmanship...may the best team win.

Go The Wallabies!!

Yes I am floating down a river in Eygpt.

In my books this is def the worst outcome, the two biggest gloaters in the world playing one another...as you say in the name of good sportsmanship may the best team win......ok we all know i dont really mean that

I was hoping that France would beat England. And as much as I didn't think they could do it, I REALLY wanted Argentina to win.

I really can't pick who I want to win now......I want both Sth Africa and England to lose....is that unsportsman like??

Worst case scenario! Dark days in paris! Left last night's game 15 minutes early. The best part of Saturday's was the trip to Stade de France in the Metro! Rugby as we used to love, it is dead! The glory days of gloating begin!

Hello James...

Apologies for not responding sooner.

Well...NFL was derived from Rugby. Not sure why the padding and helmets, etc were added. No fun...

Thanks for coming by James.

Hiya Louie...

This RWC...Rugby has become a game of kicking egos.

as you say in the name of good sportsmanship may the best team win

Hiya KW...

I wanted los Pumas to win also...

Not unsportsmanlike at all. Good sportsmanship is all about hoping the best team wins.

Hope you're well hon...

Ahhh Patricia...I was hoping to hear from you.

Pah...who cares about any Rugby World Cup?...! It's just one trophy contested every 4 years and a lot happens in between. It's not like it's a weekly or annual test of skill...

And no I wouldn't say that if we (Aus & NZ) were still in it!

Hope you're having a good time nevertheless.

Hi Dusk

I'm so disappointed with this result - I mean two of the most loathsome teams of the whole group now clashing in the final.

I won`t be cutting into my sleep time this weekend to crawl out and catch it.

I suppose 'may the best team win' is about all I can say...

AS LONG AS IT`S THE BOKS!!!

Hope you are well
hugs

Hiya Ash hon...

Well, you have always said that the Boks will be in the final.

My career as a sports clairvoyant is over.

I think most of all...I do not want England to win. They're terrible winners (not all...just the Rugby team I'm talking about here).
The English think they own Rugby for some silly just-because-it-started-there reason.

Hope you are well my sweet....hugs right back atcha...

THe Springboks are going to kick the English team's ass...Actually they will show the Wobblies how to beat them...Maybe Dunning and co need to watch this...It all starts upfront....
Watch the Springbok team play Rugby like youve never seen....
Ozzies are obviously too self absorbed to admit the MIGHTY Springboks deserve recognition....

Thy will tear the Aussies apart right now...

Yeah, the main article is typical bad Aus/NZ idiocy - GO SPRINGBOKKE!

We won, and the rest of you can go suck it. Suck it long, and suck it HARD.
