The Wallabies! lang may yer Larkham!!
November 25th 2006 23:45
Wallabies 44
Tries: Gerrard 2, Larkham, Moore, Latham
Conversions: Mortlock 5
Penalty Goals: Mortlock 3
Scotland 15
Tries: Webster, Lamont
Conversions: Paterson
Penalties: Paterson
Larkham
The Perfect 10.
Needless to say...like The Pointer Sisters...I'm so excited!!
(I was going to say Big Kev but he's peaceful now)
Also must be said that there is room to improve.
Scortluhnd...bless their Bravehearts..almost had us.
If they hadn't changed their gameplan to lose, this may not have been the result.
We would still have won, because Mine Wallabies were on fi-yer...feel that heat...but the final score may have been close.
As for Larkham (sigh)...let me just say this...sigh...
Not only did he produce the first try for our side with a nice skim, flip and twirl but he was pivotal (pun intended, ha!) in setting up all the others.
The only thing he did wrong was leave the field 5 mins before fulltime.
Yeah sure, he played true to form...he was brilliant and sharp and fearless (oh please please, please can we put a permanent camera on him??)
He got pummeled true to form...and man, do those Forwards love to pummel him or what? He just bounces back...but why leave...why deprive his loyal fans of his brilliance?
Alright. Fine.
Why deprive me of his gorgeous aasss...assets?
For those that think this is a Stephen Larkham fansite...you're not wrong. You're not right but you're not wrong.
Speaking of which, The Forwards...ahh the Forwards. Superb.
Will continue to add to this as I float along on my cloud of rugby a happy me...

Many reasons to smile, laugh and generally float around on a cloud of happiness...the scent of pine, ocean and cinnamon was at home, my not so little babies were around me, the weather was great, I had a few glasses of...oh...um...ummm...cordial and, yes The Wallabies won.
Am exhaling.
Will see you sometime today A.H. I hope you are well and Little Blog is getting excited.
yours in MOSTEST

Hoots jimmy...that be an interesting question.
I love Rugby. Have ever since I was a wee lass from Saxon Lands, which leads me to this...
If it was nationalistic pride, I would not only be devoted to the English team (and any team from my country of origin and let's not forget the fact that I want to be a Bonnie Scot), I would also follow other sports.
For me, this is it - Rugby, MotoGP and Boxing. Oh and shopping for vintage ballgowns (...the adrenaline rush...oh yeah...).
The Wallabies, The Wallaroos, The ACT Brumbies, my regional team, my family team...
Rugby just fits me.
As always Joe...it's been part fun and part fear to have you visit...I have followed your comments all over Orble and och Mon, yer a wild one! I like it!

All or nothing.
As for the rugger that is the first time you've mentioned other teams than the Wallabies which was the reason I asked.
PS: I am deeply touched by your confession to being a Joe Blogg groupie. I just hope it remains that way and you don't descend into stalking.
It's gotten to the stage where I can no longer tell the stalkers from the ASIO guys parked out the front of my house.
And fwiw I truly enjoy the way you write.
It has a flow & tenderness many try but fail to achieve.

And once I get my tracking system fixed, I'll cross it!
I'm with CRASIO....
Kidding Joe. Sort of. No really I am!
I just really like your "huh? WTF?" attitude.
Wicked sense of humour.
And oh dude...you are a Chef Extraordinaire...
Thanks for your lovely compliment.
I must admit, I don't know how to take it...are you serious or are you being a Chef again (stirring my pot...)?
I don't want an explanation cos I don't fish...well I do but I never catch anything.
If you mean it, you mean it. And I thank you.

I am sooo happy for you and your sweet smelling man ... together again.
I must warn you, though, cordial is very bad for you ... I'd stick with G & T if I was you (or wine, or beer, or bourbon or ...)
Damn, there I go again!
Little blog is always excited (she says, changing the subject seamlessly) as am I. I must have a very excitable personality.
Enjoy your time with your man, my friend and I look forward to your visit.
